Mo's Digital Challenge 2

This weeks challenge is to use colors that remind you of Fall and to use only 2 embellishments. Your image does not have to be a Fall image, although it can, just use colors that remind you of Fall. The limited embellishments will make sure that Mo's fabulous image is the main focal point of the card.

There have been some questions about embellishments so I will try to explain what I consider embellishments. They are anything you can hold in your hand; flowers (no matter how many), ribbon, gems (no matter how many), stickers, each of these counts as one embellishment. Now punched corners/borders or stitching are not considered embellishments as they are part of the card rather than an add-on. I hope this clears it up.

W
e are all still learning the ropes of running a challenge blog. I am the hostess for the month of October and I promise I will get better as the challenges progress. Sandy

The winner, to be chosen by Random.org, will win a free image of their choice from Mo's Digital Pencil The challenge will end on Wednesday, October 21st. The winner will be announced before the next challenge is posted.

We have set some challenge rules, they are listed on the right sidebar so please follow them closely. We hope you will join in on the fun. Be sure to add a link to Mr. Linky at the bottom of the page (to your blog post, not your main blog)

  7. Wow, so many nice cards here... I am using one of my newest images and it is Kai playing in the Fall leaves. The colors I chose were pumpkin and turquois which remind me of Fall. I hope you like it. I hope my flowers count as one embellishment and my velvet leaf ribbon as the other.

  20. gosh, after I made my card (late, as usual - grins!) I come over to post and see that I forgot all about the limited embellies..... sheesh..... I am the Queen Goober! hope my 2 buttons and trim don't throw me off for the count. sorry if using the 2 buttons does. I was so anxious to carve out time to play that I forgot to check all of the requirements for the week.

maybe NEXT CHALLENGE I'll have my head screwed on tighter! :D
