Hello Mo friends! Welcome to our newest challenge... Christmas in July. Our talented, and very dedicated team member, Elaine, is finishing up her hostess duties this month with a Christmas theme. She did such a fabulous job with the July challenges. Thanks so much, Elaine!

Mo has created several new holiday images recently that are just perfect for this challenge. Here's what the design team has put together as inspiration using some new Mo stuff, as well as our older Christmas favorites.

Challenge 41 - Paper Piecing

Hello Mo fans! Welcome to our newest challenge. We really loved seeing all of your delicious designs this past week. What a great turnout we had. You seemed to really enjoy the masculine-theme challenge Elaine put together and it's a nice change from the girl stuff too.

As of today, we are announcing our winner in our regularly scheduled challenge post instead of a separate post....just a bit of time management.  From our many entries this week, has chosen

and number #2 is Barb Wibel. Congrats Barb!!  Just contact Mo via email to arrange for your free image. Happy coloring! We're looking forward to see what you pick and create.

Our talent Elaine continues as our hostess, and this week she's looking for paper piecing on our projects. The design team has these great projects to share with you...

We hope you will join us this week with another one of Elaine's great challenges. Just make sure that you use an image from Mo's Digital Pencil. Link up your post here at Mr. Linky. All of our challenge rules are listed to the right of this column. Anytime you have questions, just let us know.

Challenge #40 - Masculine theme

Hi Mo fans.. welcome to our challenge for this week. Before we get to the details of our challenge, we'd like for you to get to know our hostess, Elaine. She's been on Mo's team from the very start.

Hi! Let me introduce myself.... I'm Elaine Lienhart, your hostess for Mo's Challenge Blog for the month of July. I hope you're enjoying the challenges I've had for you so far. I know that I love to go out of my comfort zone on occasion...I think it gives me a fresh outlook and forces me to be me more creative.

I've been making cards for about ten years, but have been enjoying it more than ever since discovering Mo's beautiful digital images! You just can't make a bad card with them!

My husband of 44 years and I (and my two cats!) live in a small New Hampshire town where we raised our three children in an old house built in the early 1800's.

We have three grandchildren, two boys and a girl. The youngest, our granddaughter, now seven, is pictured with me when she was about one.

Have fun with the remaining challenges for July! And, thanks so much for joining us this month.

Isn't that the sweetest picture?

Elaine says this week's challenge is all about the guys in our lives... so create something with a masculine theme using an image from Mo's Digital Pencil.

Here's what the design team created for Elaine's challenge...

If you would like to join us, just create your post and link up here using Mr. Linky. We'll pick one random entry next week and that lucky person gets their choice of an image from Mo's Digital Pencil. You can enter once, just be sure to use an image from Mo's. Questions?? Just let us know.  We'd love to help.

Can't get your fill of Mo's images? The monthly blog hop at Mo's Digital Pencil  is going on today... Check it out if you get the chance.

Enjoy everyone.. and happy coloring.

Challenge #39

Hi everyone... welcome to Mo's!  Thanks to everyone who participated in our last challenge. We loved seeing all of your great creations.

Before we get to the details of this week's challenge, we want to tell you about a former design team member at Mo's Digital Pencil, Michelle Oatman.  If you haven't yet heard, Michelle had a serious accident while taking care of her baby donkeys and she lost her eye when a bungee cord snapped.

Friends throughout papercraft land have come together for Michelle, sending good wishes and support. You can stop by Michelle's blog and leave some cyber love and follow her road to recovery. You can also make a monetary contribution through Stampavie's program to help defray the expenses Michelle will be facing. Just log into your PayPal account and make a donation to

Thanks everyone for whatever you are able to do.

And now, onto our challenge for this week.

Elaine continues as our hostess and she's put together a 'beach/summer' theme.

Want to play along with us? Just link up your creation here using Mr. Linky. Be sure to link to your post for this challenge, not just to your blog address.  One lucky person will be selected as the winner of an image from Mo's. Full challenge rules are listed to the right.

Enjoy and happy coloring!

Challenge #38

Hello Mo fans! Welcome to our newest challenge.  There's lots going on here at Mo's, so let's catch up a bit before we get to the challenge.

We've got a brand new design team member...Paola Levi. She was a guest designer at Mo's Dream Team for the month of June and we are so happy that she has joined us as a regular member at the Challenge Team! She's a very talented lady and is a welcomed addition to our team. You will love her creativity.

Didn't team member Sheila do a fab job on the June challenges?  Super job Sheila.. so many Mo fans loved the challenges that you created. And, congrats to Sheila for becoming a grandmum (again)... but this time it's her first little bundle of 'pink'.

This week, and for the entire month of July, lovely Elaine is our hostess, and she's calling for fabric on our projects (and she says lace counts as fabric). Here's what the design team has put together for Elaine's first challenge.

Want to play along? It's very easy to do. Just use your image from Mo's Digital Pencil, get your coloring supplies, dress it up a bit (with fabric, of course) and then come back here to list your blog post on Mr. Linky (he's been super-special lately.. have you noticed?). The design team will be by to visit and see your entry.

Got questions or need help? Leave us a comment and we'll do what we can to help out ~

Happy coloring everyone. We'll see you during the week ~
