Mo's Digital Pencil - Challenge #17 & MORE!

Hello everyone..and welcome to Challenge 17. We're sending out a huge 'thank you' to everyone who has been joining in the weekly challenges. Lisa's January challenges were a huge success and our followers are just loving Mo's images. It's fun to see posts from new people entering the world of digital images each week.

We've got lots to tell you today, so grab a cup of something warm and delicious, spend a few minutes with us, and make sure you read all of the great details in this post for a big announcement.

First, a new month means there's a new hostess from our Design Team to set the stage for our challenges. For the month of February, Dawn Burnworth will host several challenges that are bound to be fun activities for all of us. Before we get into our challenge for this week, let's meet Dawn.

Hi everyone! I am really excited to be hosting the month of February at Mo's challenge blog. I hope you find some time to come on over and join this amazing design team in some creative fun.

I am a Midwest girl born and raised on a family farm. I am very proud of my upbringing. I now live in North Carolina and love it. I have a wonderful hubby and 5 kids.. 4 girls and a boy. I have been stamping for about 5 years now. My favorite style of stamping is whimsical. I like a clean and simple style that showcases your image. Mo's images are perfect for that. I am flowergal36 on Splitcoaststampers, just don't ask me to stamp a flower..It's not pretty.

I hope you enjoy my challenges and I look forward to seeing all your creativity.

For great inspiration, check out Dawn's blog. Wow, what talent! Dawn's first challenge this month is all about "wood" or "would" (as in 'would' you be mine?) So, make a card or 3-D project and incorporate 'wood' or 'would', or perhaps use 'faux wood' in your project.

On a much sadder note, Michelle Oatman has elected to leave our team due to family and career commitments. We will certainly miss Michelle's positive influence and creativity here at Mo's. Please join us in wishing Michelle well... Michelle promises to participate in our challenges as her time permits, so she's not going very far away.

Here's what the Design Team has put together for inspiration...

As we do each week, one lucky person will be selected for an image from Mo's shop through Random.Org. And here's the big news... at the end of February the Design Team will pick one lucky person to become part of our Design Team for the month of March. If you would like to be considered, here's what you need to do:

  • Participate in ALL of the challenges for the month of February (Feb 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th)
  • Of course, follow the challenge rules and follow the criteria for each particular challenge (layout, colors, recipe, etc.)
  • The Design Team will select their favorite image from those that met the criteria for the challenge
All of our normal challenge rules still apply and they are listed to the right of this post. If you have questions, leave a message here or drop us a line. We would love to help in any way we can.

That one lucky person will also win this great award from Bella and Bronte... wouldn't you love to have this on your blog?

So get your supplies out and come join us this week and for the entire month.. you might just be the lucky winner!

Happy crafting everyone!
