Mo's Digital Pencil - Challenge #6

SPECIAL NOTE:  Mr. Linky is now fixed!!

Hello everyone! And welcome to Challenge 6 at Mo's Digital Pencil. Last week we told you that Design Team member, Caryn, is our challenge hostess this month. We thought you might like to know a bit more about Caryn and her passion for this hobby we all love.

Hi, I am Caryn and I'm the challenge hostess for the month of November. I am a busy mum of 5 (4 girls and a boy) ranging from the age of 10 down to 2. I am originally from Glasgow but moved down to the Wirral after university nearly 15 years ago. My love of card-making began 5 years ago just after I had my fourth baby, Sophie. She was born with a condition called Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia and after major surgery at 2 days old she spent 3 weeks fighting for her life at Alder Hey hospital in Liverpool. I started making cards to sell in aid of the hospital and Ronald MacDonald house who helped us so much when she was there. She is a fighting-fit 5 year old now and hasn't looked back since those first few scary weeks.

My style of card-making changes with the weather - sometimes it's very CAS others it's busy and OTT! I have found a new lease of life with digi-stamps in the last couple of months and haven't actually bought any "real" ones for weeks! I started my blog, Glitter Me Silly - yes, I LOVE sparkles - just over a year ago and have become totally immersed in the world of blogging. I have found so much inspiration in that year from visiting the amazing blogs out there and everyday come across a new one to add to my ever-growing blog-roll!

Well, I really hope you enjoy the challenges I have set for this month and can't wait to see what fabulous creations you all come up with. Let the glitter run free and always remember - there's no such thing as too much bling!!!!

Hugs,
Caryn xxx

Here's this week's fun sketch challenge that Caryn created for us.

And here are the fabulous cards that our Design Team put together.

So hop on the bandwagon and play along with us this week using Caryn's sketch challenge. It's easy.. just check our challenge guidelines listed to the right and jump in. You just might be the lucky winner of an image from Mo's Digital Pencil.

This week the winner will have the opportunity to "name your stamp". The winner will give Mo a one-line description and "name" an image for Mo to draw... how great is that?

When using Mr. Linky, make sure you leave a link to your Challenge post, not just to your blogsite!

Enjoy your week and we'll see you again next Thursday.

Mo's Digital Pencil - Challenge #5

Hello everyone....and welcome to the 5th Challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil. For the entire month of November, our challenges will be hosted by the very talented Caryn Davies of our Design Team.

For her first challenge, Caryn has put together a theme of "All that Glitters" - Just use three (3) different sparkly elements on your card; ie: glitter, gems, sequins, etc. So get out all of that sparkly stuff you've been hoarding and join us for Caryn's fun challenge.

Of a sad note, June Nelson has had to leave our Design Team due to personal reasons. We wish you much 'good stuff' June.. please hurry back. We're holding your spot for you with the best hopes that you can return and bring your creativity and talent back to the fold.

Here's what our talented design team has put together.

We hope you like the cards our talented ladies have made for you this week. We certainly enjoyed making them for you, and working with Mo's images is a blast. So get all that glittery, shimmery, flashy stuff that you have on hand and play along.

Make sure you leave a link to your Challenge post, not just to your blogsite! Enjoy your week and we'll see you again next Thursday.

Mo's Digital Pencil - Challenge #4

Wow.. where did time go? We're already at our 4th Challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil. Doesn't time fly by? 'Seems as though everyone is having a great time and enjoying playing along each week. Thank you for jumping in!

Sandy, our October hostess, has challenged us to make a fancy card fold.. anything except a simple, typical A2 folded card - step cards, special side folds, top flap folds... anything outside of the ordinary goes! So let your imagination soar, and get out all of the embellishments you've been saving.. you know, those things you 'need' when you are shopping at the craft store.

The winner will be chosen by Random.org, and the lucky person can select a free image of their choice from Mo's Digital Pencil. This challenge will end on Wednesday, November 4th, and the winner will be announced before the next challenge is posted.

Challenge rules are listed on the sidebar to the right. Feel free to drop us a line if you have questions. We hope you will join is. Once you have your card designed, just add a link of your blog post to Mr. Linky at the bottom of the page (please be certain to link to the challenge post, and not to your main blog address).

Here are the terrific projects our Design Team has put together.

Aren't these cards inspiring? We hope that you will join in on our great challenge this week. Just leave a link to your challenge here with Mr. Linky. Thanks for playing along.
