Mo's Digital Pencil - Challenge #4

Wow.. where did time go? We're already at our 4th Challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil. Doesn't time fly by? 'Seems as though everyone is having a great time and enjoying playing along each week. Thank you for jumping in!

Sandy, our October hostess, has challenged us to make a fancy card fold.. anything except a simple, typical A2 folded card - step cards, special side folds, top flap folds... anything outside of the ordinary goes! So let your imagination soar, and get out all of the embellishments you've been saving.. you know, those things you 'need' when you are shopping at the craft store.

The winner will be chosen by Random.org, and the lucky person can select a free image of their choice from Mo's Digital Pencil. This challenge will end on Wednesday, November 4th, and the winner will be announced before the next challenge is posted.

Mo's Digital Challenge 3

This week our challenge hostess, Sandy, has put together a fun project for us. Our theme is Anything But A Card. So let your imagination loose, grab your supplies, and join in the activities.

Mo's Digital Challenge 2

This weeks challenge is to use colors that remind you of Fall and to use only 2 embellishments. Your image does not have to be a Fall image, although it can, just use colors that remind you of Fall. The limited embellishments will make sure that Mo's fabulous image is the main focal point of the card.

There have been some questions about embellishments so I will try to explain what I consider embellishments. They are anything you can hold in your hand; flowers (no matter how many), ribbon, gems (no matter how many), stickers, each of these counts as one embellishment. Now punched corners/borders or stitching are not considered embellishments as they are part of the card rather than an add-on. I hope this clears it up.

We are all still learning the ropes of running a challenge blog. I am the hostess for the month of October and I promise I will get better as the challenges progress. Sandy

Challenge #1

As you can see from our fabulous blog header, Bella and Bronte are busy making cards and we want to join them. Since Peggy, our team leader, is under the weather, we are going to do a very simple first challenge.

Of course, you all know that "Perple" is Bella and Bronte's favorite color. So, our challenge is to make a card using the color purple but you must use a Mo Manning image on your creation. Use as much or as little purple as you like, it just has to have purple!

Don't have a Mo's image? You can join one of the groups listed on the sidebar for some free images or hop over to Mo's store and pick out your favorite.
And as an added bonus, that person will not only win a new, never been seen image but get the honor of naming the image as well. So get those purple colors out and get inky. Be sure to check out all the great inspiration from our design team.

The challenge will end on Monday, October 12th. The winner will be determined by Random.org. Please add your name and a link to your card on the Mr Linky at the bottom of this post to be entered to win.
